About Me

My photo
Karen Low Deloge
I spent the first big chunk of my life in the Boston suburbs. My husband Frank and I raised three kids in a jungle tribe, living amongst cannibals, learning an unwritten language and teaching them about God. We returned to the States when the kids reached college age, and a few years later, sadly, Frank passed away from brain cancer. Crickets and Thunder (available on amazon) tells our stories from drugs and rock and roll, to the tribe and back. From the tundras of Alaska to the rain forest, and from Papua to the Papal City. Whether in prisons or on the streets with refugees, God is able, and He is with us. Whether soft as crickets or loud as thunder, He is as near and intimate as our bare feet on the grass; as mystifying as the heavens. He calls each one of us into a personal relationship, to enjoy the journey with Him as a Faithwalker. I married my wonderful husband Doug in 2016 and continue to minister, write, study and teach classes. My blog, faithwalkjourney.blogspot.com, is a collection of personal reflections about life and death, nature, culture, God, and His Word. I invite your comments and welcome your thoughts, and may God bless you through these pages. Karen
