Karen Low Deloge: I spent the first big chunk of my life in the Boston suburbs. Then, together with my first husband Frank, we raised our kids among cannibals in a jungle tribe, returning when they were starting college. Sadly, Frank passed away from brain cancer in 2006. Crickets and Thunder (available on amazon) tells the stories from drugs and rock and roll to the tribe and back. From the tundras of Alaska to the rain forest, and from Papua to the Papal City, whether in prisons or on the streets with refugees, God is able and He is with us. Whether soft as crickets or loud as thunder, He is as near and intimate as our bare feet on the grass; as wide and mystifying as the heavens. He calls each one of us into a personal relationship, to enjoy the journey with Him as a Faithwalker. Now, remarried in 2016 and ministering locally, my blog, faithwalkjourney.blogspot.com, represents my personal reflections about life and death, nature, culture, God, and the Bible, and the events of our times.
